    I’m still opposed to the death penalty but fuck if this fucker isn’t really testing that conviction…

      In cases like this, there’s no room for rehabilitation. You should be locked up till you’re dead.

      If I were me, I’d prefer death before even a few years in prison. So the rest of his many years left in a hole sounds good here.

      Not a lawyer, but he changed his plea midway through the trial. My guess is that if he wanted to leverage a guilty plea into a life sentence, he should have done so earlier.

    While acknowledging during opening statements that the evidence against Horner was “overwhelming” and “terrible,” Horner’s attorney, Steven Goble, told jurors that Horner’s mother drank while she was pregnant, that he has autism and suffered from “various mental illnesses throughout his life” in addition to being exposed to a “massive amount of lead.”

    Sounds like the solution is just a smaller, but faster, dose of lead.
