I don’t think paying people for services rendered at rates set by their local economy is quite a exploitative as you make it out to be compared to the dispute about passive income.
Nah it’s not the same level, maybe. But it’s still exploitative, you perform labor for a richer nation, get paid according to the richer nations rates and then live according to a poorer nations rates. Like you get more for the same amount of labor performed than the local person. And they don’t even get benefits of your labor, or if anything very indirectly. It’s still exploitative and is dependent on there being a system of unequal exchange by imperial nations from the host nation.
edit: out of curiosity, are the other types of wyvern than dragon?
