    Since 2014, he has worked for Roscosmos, Russia’s space agency, where he is a Deputy Director General leading manned spaceflight efforts.

      His stay in space was far extended from what it was supposed to be when he launched. He was originally supposed to be in space for only five months.

    You can kind of see there that it’s super hard to maintain muscle mass while in freefall or low-g. Without gravity there’s not very much for your muscles to do, and also most of the best body weight exercises aren’t available either.
