I wouldn’t steal a car. But I would copy one.
Reminds me of this one:
A group of old white trust fund beneficiaries sat in a board room like “What should we call this to make it sound less fun and cool? How about Piracy?” “That’s perfect, Bob, no one idolizes thieving from the upper class while sailing the high seas on the waves of freedom.”

Likewise, a 2022 behavioral economics paper published in The Information Society found the PSAs may, in fact, have increased piracy rates.
I believe this. It certainly reminded me how easy it is to pirate things and how stupid it is to be told not to.
Can’t say you wouldn’t steal a car without this from The IT Crowd.
Without the tracking idebtifier:
It’s actually the first thing I think of.
The aluminum coalition: you wouldn’t steel a car!
You wouldn’t download a bear
And the memes kept on giving on that one
When this first came out, I was like: then, you don’t know me that well.
I wouldn’t steal a car. But if I wanted a car, and I could illegally get a copy of one for free without taking someone’s car away from them, you bet I would do so.
