OK, this is really strange. For anyone wondering what happened, this person posted a rather graphic comment, then reported me for a short reply to it that contained a link to a Wikipedia page with images of gangrene.
They complained that it was “body horror”, but apparently had no problem with the equally graphic image in the original post that they had joked about, which was tagged as NSFW three days later.
There is nothing in the Blahaj Lemmy rules that expressly prohibits something like this, and I have no idea why my comment was “removed by mod”.
from the admin:
Hey, just to clarify. Your post was removed not because of the content as such, but because it lacked a NSFW tag or content warning.
Fair enough; if that other user had simply notified me about it without overreacting, I would’ve gladly added the tag.
Is a leech basically a penis that got bit by a vampire?
…
You shouldn’t post body horror without warnings or censors. Blocked.

Sheesh, this shit’s giving me Hexbear flashbacks.
Fuck, now I’m curious what it was
Just go to the Wikipedia entry for gangrene and view the images; all I did was post a link to it.
Ah thank you… Maybe… Ahahah
