Nice to see that what should have been (in my opinion) the four playoff teams are the top four in our poll. I am curious what the poll would look like now after championship week is done.
I would’ve been ok with no sec representation so long as it means no alabama representation. Dawgs I’m indifferent on, but I’m stoked they can’t threepeat irl.
Well ladies and gentlemen, UGA is the inaugural c/cfb National Champion… damn. Additionally:
NC State lost but jumped up 4 spots?- As always losing the game is a bad idea if you want a shot at the top ranking
- Only 1 tie this week, but it happened in the top 10
- Our National Champion elect received only a single 1st place vote
- Unranked OkSU lost to Texas and as a result was ranked 19th, talk about quality loss
- Tennessee managed to hang on to a ranking, just barely
Thank you everyone who submitted a ballot at any point this season. Sorry the results this week were a bit late, I was traveling and working and didn’t have a chance to format the results. But I had a lot of fun putting these together. I’ll likely do a post-season and pre-season poll at some point, but I’m not sure when.
NC State lost in basketball, but in football, they won their last 5 games for a 9-3 record.
Ah, thanks for the help. My brain is still all over the place from this past weekend.
