And the screen looks fantastic. Some people here had me nervous and if you’ve been on the thread you’d think it was the end of the world and you’d have to instant RMA your device due to dead pixels.
Just wanted to add a positive note. My LE arrives pristine with no issues whatsoever.
I just checked my LE last night and thankfully no dead pixels - but my friend found a dead one on his LE and will be returning it. In both of our opinions there should be zero tolerance for a dead pixel. I would definitely send mine back too if it had one. There’s several articles about BOE having quality control issues - the discrepancy between so many LE BOE panels having bad pixels and the SE Samsung panels not having them is very telling.
samsung are pissed valve used BOE too, they cloned their OLED tech and cant even get it right
If i had a BOE panel i would return it and go for a different model. I would not be surprised if the BOE ones are more susceptible to burn in as well
