I’ll start. Salford City FC. Every single person in that stadium supports Man United (possibly the odd Man City and Bolton fan). Any other clubs out there ?

Not 100% but Crewe Alex fans essentially all support either Utd or Liverpool. Crewe is only 49 minutes from both so understandable in a way.

I didn’t say they didn’t. I said a lot of their supporters also support Utd and Liverpool. My partner is a Crewe season ticket holder along with her entire family, I know the fanbase quite well.

Not in England, but a lot of Excelsior Rotterdam fans are Feyenoord fans as well. They’re considered to be Feyenoord’s little brother

I’ve often wondered who MK Dons fans supported before they were formed. Surely not Wimbledon and there was MK City but they were way way down the league pyramid.

I support tranmere rovers and we have a reputation for being followed by liverpool and Everton fans. However, on an average 6k attendance I’d say 4k were 100% tranmere and 2k were a rotating cast of mostly liverpool or Everton fans, some who go to 1 or 2 games a season and some who go much more. But I think you’d be hard pressed to find an team who’s entire supporter base all supported another team.

Salford definitely have fans that solely support them. They existed for many years before the investment from former United players. Despite an obvious increase in attendances since the involvement from Gary Neville etc., I think it would be unfair to ignore the fact that there will be Salford fans who have supported the club since they were much further down the pyramid, and probably funded the clubs survival at times.

There’s absolutely no club on the planet where 100% of their fans support another club

This idea is alien to me.

Surely Salford has some of their own fans? It can’t just be fans of Man Utd going because they can’t get tickets at Old Trafford?

Even tiny teams in the 9th or 10th tier have their own dedicated fans. It isn’t just fans of other clubs who are “slumming it”.

Yeah OP has made a strange assumption. Salford aren’t a phoenix club or supporters club, like FC United of Manchester. But even with that example, I’d expect some of their fans to be fans only of that team.

I am not sure about 100%, but in my experience Leyton Orient fans often support a premier League team as well. Normally Arsenal or Spurs. Both clubs are close to Leyton and they don’t play each other very often.

I’m from east London - not a LO myself but I know a lot of orient fans and can confirm that many of them they don’t support other teams. Fans of lower league teams get fed up of people asking them “who are your premier League team?”

Doubt there are any clubs in the Football League.

It’s more common in the National League, although I still doubt there are any fanbases where 100% of fans support other clubs.

In the North East, a good chunk of Gateshead’s fans support either Newcastle or Sunderland. They have a very passionate chunk of fans who solely support Gateshead as well though and resent the fact Newcastle voted them out of the Football League in the 70s.

Similarly, South Shields famously played in front of a crowd of 27 people a decade ago and averaged 50 fans after having to relocate to Peterlee 20 miles away but were taken over by a local businessman in 2015 who ploughed money in and attracted lapsed ex Sunderland and Newcastle season ticket holders and now average 2-3k and took 13k up Wembley for the FA Vase final in 2017.

I don’t know about England, but I’m pretty sure 99% of Al-Nassr and Inter Miami “fans” didn’t even know about these teams one year ago.
