So I’m looking for a Cross and saw this interior pic on AutoTrader. Can’t believe the lousy looking seat finish. Yikes!

It’s a Corolla with a lift kit and a head room increase. Not sure what you expect?

To me that looks like someone put the rear seat down and then moved the passenger’s front seat back and squished the headrest against something. But I could be wrong.

Bro, not a single US built vehicle from multiple manufacturers I’ve owned or had regular experience in has had this fucked of upholstery fresh from the factory. This isn’t a US quality issue (the Avalon was made two states away, even!), this is a “this specific plant in garbo Alabama has dog shit QC by anyone’s standards” issue, as well as whoever is supplying the seats. But again, they should have rejected these seats at the plant long before they got placed in any cars, so it’s still that their QC sucks.

Wouldn’t be shocked if anyone who cares about that refuses to live in Alabama, to be honest.

Or alternatively, like I originally said, someone fucked up the head rest when doing the pre-delivery service when they shoved an accessory box into the trunk and squashed the head rest.

Why is this subreddit so dramatic for no reason.

I don’t know man, I just work on them. I don’t think I’ve ever actually looked to see if the head rest on the rear of them was flat or not on the Corolla Crosses.
