So all car companies are just designing to safety regulations it seems, nothing more.

Subaru doesn’t seem to be trying much lately. None of their cars look much different than the previous generation and the interior seems to be a step back with the tablet layout. The only exciting thing is the 2.4 turbo they’re putting in some of their cars. I wish the Crosstrek got that engine because I would immediately buy it.

I don’t see any Ford, let alone Explorer in the front (unless the blue Subaru badgenis somehow messing with you?) Much more Honda CUV front and Toyota everything else though.

love subaru but the lack of hybrid powertrains has been putting me off them. Looking forward to more hybrids from subaru.

Well, they added that stupid fucking tablet screen to it so I’m out. I was interested in it if they had a hybrid.

I have a 23 Outback with that screen and I just can’t get on board with it. Pecking away at a screen while driving and trying to adjust things really sucks.

I guess Subaru is going for the younger ( I’m 40…) crowd that wants their car to operate like a damn cell phone…

I have no idea how Subaru is still stuck in the over-design every panel and surface trend from the last decade. Like is it not more expensive to needlessly complicate panels and plastic molds? We don’t need hexagonal wheel wheels with a dozen different lines and creases in it. Just give us a simple and timeless design like the first gen forester.
