Because Saudi are paying sky sports to put Newcastle on TV. Just like they are paying the refs to be shit for every team. Saudi have also payed the PL to start removing teams. Soon it will just be Newcastle in the PL, paying a team that Saudi picks every Saturday - at 17:30.

Scandalous all these tv coverges Newcastle are getting. We’re so lucky not having ours on TV at 3pm 🤣🤣.

Not withstanding CL games pre and post your weekend matches.

But actually it’s SKY/BT/Prime who choose the game selections in fixed slots.l agreed 3 years in advance.

But there are easily better games on Saturday and Sunday than Bournemouth v Newcastle so there is a question why that game was selected.

After writing this I’ve come around to agree with the Saudi idea 🤣

I don’t know if any of the non-televised games this weekend are necessarily any better than Bournemouth v Newcastle. It’s a fairly underwhelming set of fixtures.

Couldn’t be because in the past year we’re no strangers to scores like 6 1, 8 0, 5 1, and 4 1 and tend to play entertaining football could it? Na must be part of the Saudi conspiracy.

Sky get to pick so I doubt they care about Saudi Arabia.

More likely that they have a big fan base in the country so they get picked more than others, games are quite entertaining, Europa League teams have to play Sunday so they have to play Saturdays more and sometimes ‘bigger’ games get played on Sunday as well.

Like how City and Newcastle played on Tuesday so play Sunday, and Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal played Wednesday so play Saturday?

      That ain’t it.

Newcastle played at 5.45pm on Tuesday and are playing at 5.30pm on Saturday.

Arsenal and United both played at Wednesday at 8pm and are both playing at 3pm on Saturday.

The Arabs paid a lot of money to the PL and broadcasters so Newcastle and ManCheaty can have more rest than ManU, Arsenal and others. It’s not normal that ManU and Arsenal have to play on Saturday after CL matches on Wednesday whilst City and Newcastle have more rest. Unfair

It’ll be no accident, they’ll be one of the teams that get good numbers for Sky so just one of them if it ain’t broke situations. They had a similar run of them last season.

We get picked for TV most weeks, I looked at last season and 27/38 of our PL games were on Sky/BT/Amazon. This season it’s 8/11 so far.

There’s only a certain number of slots available and we are playing CL this season so more likely to play the Saturday, as the Europa teams play Sunday.
