He can win as many Golden Boots, Premier Leagues and Champions Leagues as he want at City but winning the Balon d’Or is near impossible unless Norway win the World Cup (LOL!) or move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.

The Balon d’Or is heavily biased towards the biggest clubs in Spain. Look what happened to Mbappe. He won the World Cup with France and was the best player in the tournament but Luka Modric won it ahead of him when he wasn’t even the best player for Real Madrid that year

If it’s hard for Mbappe to win it then it’s virtually impossible for Haaland unless he moves out of City. I can guarantee Jude Bellingham win the next Balon d’Or if Real Madrid win the Champions League.

Ignore him, he’s a butthurt Man United fan. He’s probably mad that Rashford hasn’t been acknowledged for his mediocre performances and limp-dick celebration.

LMAO!! This has nothing to do with Man Utd. Typical of Liverpool fans to make everything about Utd. Hated, Adored, Never Ignored.

I’m just saying if Haaland want win the Balon d’Or, he must move to Real Madrid or Barcelona. He can score 100 goals in a year but they will still give to to next RM/Barca player like Bellingham, Vini or Lewandowski.

Unfortunately, Ballon D’Or is like any other voted award. It’s more about perceptions and popularity, than actual performances over the season. It’s highly possible that Haaland would not win the Ballon D’Or at City.

LOL, you’re so wrong. if Benzema can win a Ballon d’Or, Haaland will definitely win multiple. The next decade of Ballon d’Ors will rotate between Mbappe, Haaland, and Bellingham

I was thinking Haaland deserved the win, especially with Messi moving to the US leagues and PSG being knocked out of the champions league, but there was a post comparing all the numbers from goals, assists to dribbling etc… Messi had better overall numbers to make up for the goals difference between the 2. Still think Haaland deserved the win with that last season, but feel better that Balon d’Or wasn’t just a popularity trophy/award.

Mbappe would have won it instead of Haalabd for winning his second world cup and being the major player.

But Haaland lacks more than the trophies. Tifo Football had a look at who won it in the past and all of them are more versatile players unlike haaland which is very one dimensional and have something special in their game. Haaland is to one dimensional and also disappears in the big games.

I doubt, ou would see games from Haaland where the team does not deliver bht he saves the day with more than just a tap in. Feels to me that is not in his skillsset

Mbappe was great in the 2018WC and won it but Croatia came second with Modric winning the CL (for the 3rd time in a row) with Real. Mbappé was a promising young player who was already bound to be a star but he had just arrived at PSG, which is still in Ligue 1.

I’m not saying you’re 100% incorrect but there’s bias in your reasoning as much as in the way this trophy works. Sure there’s a higher chance in Spain and Bellingham looks well on his way to grab a few in the coming years, but if Haaland becomes more efficient in knockout games like the late stages of the CL and it’s not an international tournament year, he still has a decent chance.

Explain why Ronaldo or Bale didn’t win it when they were far more influential in Real winning the CL than Modric that year? 2018 has to go down as one of the biggest robberies in Balon d’Or

Haaland is a phenomenal generational goal scorer but not much else yet. Even on his team Rodri and KDB are more essential. He also didn’t score in most of the important matches. He will score a million goals for sure and it’s not inconceivable that he wins a ballon d’or but Mbappe definitely is more deserving.

Euro and World cup do not take place every year mate. This is almost the end of an era for Messi and Ronaldo. Now youngstars will win it. There are some who are predicted to deserve it and I think this includes Haaland ofc.
