He can win as many Golden Boots, Premier Leagues and Champions Leagues as he want at City but winning the Balon d’Or is near impossible unless Norway win the World Cup (LOL!) or move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.

The Balon d’Or is heavily biased towards the biggest clubs in Spain. Look what happened to Mbappe. He won the World Cup with France and was the best player in the tournament but Luka Modric won it ahead of him when he wasn’t even the best player for Real Madrid that year

If it’s hard for Mbappe to win it then it’s virtually impossible for Haaland unless he moves out of City. I can guarantee Jude Bellingham win the next Balon d’Or if Real Madrid win the Champions League.

Mbappe was great in the 2018WC and won it but Croatia came second with Modric winning the CL (for the 3rd time in a row) with Real. Mbappé was a promising young player who was already bound to be a star but he had just arrived at PSG, which is still in Ligue 1.

I’m not saying you’re 100% incorrect but there’s bias in your reasoning as much as in the way this trophy works. Sure there’s a higher chance in Spain and Bellingham looks well on his way to grab a few in the coming years, but if Haaland becomes more efficient in knockout games like the late stages of the CL and it’s not an international tournament year, he still has a decent chance.

Explain why Ronaldo or Bale didn’t win it when they were far more influential in Real winning the CL than Modric that year? 2018 has to go down as one of the biggest robberies in Balon d’Or
