Just some thoughts on yesterday’s game:
- Eddie was fantastic. I want to see him shoot more like he did for that 3rd goal.
- The team coped well without Ode and Gabriel.
- I’m really happy that Vieira and ESR got time. Once ESR starts rolling, his ability to make runs and quick pass/move action, will create so many opportunities for us.
- Surprised to see Saka get the armband but I’m happy to see him take on the responsibility.
This is funny to read after the reaction here to his shot against Sevilla just a few days ago.
I don’t think his long range shooting is good enough to want more shots, once or twice in 90mins is fine if they’re no better options.
