If there was a way to withhold my tax dollars to the federal government and only pay state taxes without getting trouble with the IRS, I would do it in a heartbeat. I’m already fucking disgusted that my tax dollars likely helped fund worse things like “Alligator Alcatraz.”

My family came over recently enough that some of these old fucks would have grown up knowing them as an immigrant family, but still long enough ago that we’ve been Americans for generations. (I’m mostly white so I’m talking about my Sicilian and Latvian sides of the family)

I go to the record store with my friends and we just grab cheap CDs that look cool and then listen to them in the car after. We’ve found some interesting things by doing that.
I have a friend from the Philippines who is in school to be a nurse. When this started, she was scared this was going to affect students which did end up being true later.
I think the hard part is if you’re the type to crave nicotine when you’re extremely stressed out. I go through cycles where I’ll quit nicotine for a year or so, and then something really difficult would happen in my life and I’ll start back up again.
If I start dating someone and they never mention that they’re poly, I just assume they aren’t and keep the relationship monogamous. I don’t really like it when it’s opened up, either. It’s hard to tell if someone agrees just because they like me or if they actually want to open it up.
That being said, if someone cheats on me in a monogamous relationship, I’m mostly pissed because I would have said it was fine if I had known that’s what they wanted. That being said, it goes both ways so they would also have to understand that me being okay with them being with other people means I can be too. My first poly relationship was with an ex who only opened the relationship up for herself and got pissed off if I even jokingly kissed my friends.
If it ever comes to this, I’m going to “forget” to charge mine. Every day since it comes out of the box. I might wear it so that I don’t get stopped in public but this is going to be a brick.
I hang out with a lot of poly people despite not dating anyone at the moment, and I know of a relationship where one partner is either doing that intentionally or on accident. They’re the only monogamous person (and admitted to me they don’t want to date someone who is poly but don’t want to break up), and dating someone who has multiple serious partners that they’ve been with longer. I really can’t see it going well if this person doesn’t say something, even if it probably would lead to a breakup just due to being incompatible. I feel like it’s not my place to warn their partner about it, so I’m just burdened by this information that I don’t really want to know about.
I think I would have a harder time because they want people still pay taxes when they live overseas, and would reject me just because I don’t want my taxes to go to bad things.
