what’s your budget?
what’s your budget?
you are probably right. get ax or axe mesh and you should be fine
you have to get your router/wifi gear out of the closet, first thing, then see if things improve with your current gear instead of buying new stuff first
8 years with the same router and switches is living on borrowed time; replace all of it, you got your moneys worth out of your current stuff
no such thing as a good router for 50 bucks
whats your budget
how big is your house
who is your provider, and what speeds do you pay for
whats a netgear Lan Hub?
its a router, so yes, you need a modem in front of it
asus, for sure
get it off the floor and closer to the ceiling, problem solved
forget tp link, get something that will actually work properly, allow for real configuration for similar money
i never had tp link/deco stuff, and bought the BE 95 wifi 7 mesh a few months ago…
worked great for a month or so, but has been a PITA for the last 2 months, especially after a firmware update…micro drops for no reason, works great for a day or 2 then days of endless drops/reconnects, so I am done with TP link/Deco going forward…they are super popular with the budget crowd, but I read tons of posts about the same exact issues you are having
I’m going with Asus/Ubiquity/Onada next time around, as these brands have given me the least amount of trouble over the years…
what ever you buy, get it somewhere with a good return policy, and if you have alot of issues the first 30 days, return it and try something else
ever since Covid, with companies having to rush out work from home hardware, and not having enough trained, intelligent designers/engineers to properly handle the influx of work from home demand, the quality and performance of consumer grade networking equipment has fallen off big time
whats your budget
powerline=sewage…
its a little above your range, but this is the top of the line asus wifi mesh 6e stuff out now…works great so far for me; was on sale until today of course, but should go on sale again soon
