Dieser Artikel trifft (mich an) einen wunden Punkt.

Ich wurde durch mein Unternehmen “freigestellt” und genötigt eine Aufhebung zu unterzeichnen, weil ich (ein “Middle Manager”) mich erdreistet habe mich für meine Mitarbeiter einzusetzten.
Anstatt diese zu drangsalieren und schikanieren damit sie mehr Arbeit bei gleicher Bezahlung machen und/oder Mitarbeiter bei Fehlern abzumahnen die bei erhöhter Arbeitslast halt zu erwarten sind, habe ich für mehr Mitarbeiter gekämpft. Für bessere Strukturen. Für klarere Aufgabenverteilung. Für vermeiden statt verwalten.

Das wollte das Management nicht hören. Feedback wurde persönlich genommen, meine durch Analysen und Zahlen/Daten und Fakten fundierte Kritik ignoriert und meine Verbesserungsvorschläge abgetan und kleingeredet.
Wo der Wasserkopf wächst und mehr und mehr hochbezahlte Schwachsinnsstellen in der Zentrale erschaffen wurden und werden und dafür Geld da ist, war für die, die die Scheisse ausbügeln dürfen, welche andere hochbezahlte Schwachköppe erzeugen, kein Geld vorhanden.

“Man könne mit mir nicht respektvoll Zusammensrbeiten” hieß es. Das ich weder jemals Ermahnungen oder Abmahnungen erhalten habe , spielt keine Rolle. Das ich “die extra Meile” gegangen bin und mich intern für eine bessere Kultur eingesetzt habe (ohne dafür entlohnt zu werden) oder ich ausserhalb der Arbeit an Unis erfolgreich Werbung für meinen Arbeitgeber gemacht habe, spielt keine Rolle. Danke.

Dem Betriebsrat war das übrigens auch scheiss-egal. Betriebsfrieden und so. Die wissen zwar, das Leute aus der Abteilung an der Überlastung entlang schrammen oder bereits deutlich drüber sind, aber wozu sich einsetzen? Der Standort will gesichert sein! Dass hier seit Jahren Rekordgewinne am Standort eingefahren werden, aber sich das nicht bei allen Mitarbeitenden auswirkt - egal.

See, where i live, we used to have for example a Tax-Number. That was a thing the taxdepartment used to identify a person. But if you move from city a to city b, that numbers changes. So if you move a lot, you will have numerous of these.
Now, some 15 years back, the Tax-ID was introduced (fellow residents at this point will lnow it might be Germany) and this number is a one-in-a-kind ID that will only be assigned to you. They create it shortly after birth. My sons first registraion ID was this, before anyrhing else. You will also get a uniqie healthcare-ID that also works like that.

So…how does that work in the US and why is habing a changing number that is not unique helpful? Or what is Elon not getting? I dont get it either because I dont know how this works for you.

I watched “Dark Matter” on apple-tv. Expected lame-ass speudo-science bullshit-bingo with bad acting but got a short series with some surprises, interesting takes, smooth story-telling and only little bad acting :D
