1 year agoAs someone who’s into retro gaming, I agree. I was recently messing with the shadow mask maker on my N64Digital and what you’re making is essentially the same thing. It’s fun trying out different phosphor layouts, which are basically the “subpixels” of a CRT. I don’t know if the new RetroTink will have shadow/aperture customization, I assume so, but I’m definitely messing with that on the Morph when I get mine
That’s what I use it for. I’m the same way with the switch as well. Docked exclusively, portability to me is a bonus. Anything too heavy or want higher frame rates where the Deck can’t handle (I’m talking 100fps+) I’ll either stream from my main PC with Steam Link or on PS5 directly especially if input lag is important.
