I’m thinking not a cat as well. I’ve always had cats and they climb on my family’s vehicles in the garage and have never seen scratches, certainly not this deep. I don’t think cat claws have enough force to go through the paint to this degree and with this volume of scratches.
The wild turkey theory would make a bit more sense, as their claws are much larger/tougher and could bust through paint like this.
