i’ve low key been getting into smaller leagues recently. Less drama and money, same sport. You’d be surprised too. The J-League is free on youtube, and it’s highly tactical and super entertaining. You’d never expect it from a league of that caliber but i enjoy it more than some CL/PL games

i thought players were also a lot more put together and organized than danish superliga/mls games (the other two smaller leagues i’m familiar with), even though those are generally considered better leagues and feature better players (though i still love watching both of those leagues too)

i still love the prem, and like others in this post, i ignore the punditry and hyperbole, and it’s still entertaining, but watching more local, grassroots football excites me more these days

if there weren’t too many games already i’d love to replace the carabao cup with an all-UK tournament. Would be cool to see Rangers and Celtics compete with Prem teams

There’s only 6 points separating the top 6. Anything could happen. That being said no team has city’s depth, and that’ll be what puts them over the edge

my only hope is that the fact that we’re finally getting out of our injury crisis means we’ll kick into second gear, but i doubt we’re anywhere near a title challenge

agree with all of this besides city needing more players to be complete. They’ve got a second string team that would still compete for the title, unfortunately

ole has a much worse rep than is justified. if ralf rangnick can do worse and manage a better national team, surely ole is good enough for norway

one thing i haven’t seen yet is based on how humans consume food. Athletes eat a lot more than the average person cuz they use a lot more energy. When they retire, if they don’t keep that level of exercise up, their appetites don’t change but their calories used obviously goes down, so they lose shape really fast.
