He was universally hated and even once blamed a drink driving charge on Blackburn fans causing elevated stress levels. Under his “management” we even signed his agents son (the agent just happened to be an advisor to Venkys during the takeover).

It has taken many years (and the removal of agents intent on making as much money as the could from the club) for them to rebuild the fanbases trust somewhat. Those were some dark years.
