I would def try out the base game first before committing to purchasing any expansions or kits. Even though the game is old, EA keeps those expansions at full cost. There’s been enough added that it should scratch the itch and give you an idea if you want to invest in more.

The expansions I would recommend first are Seasons and Get Together - adding weather and holidays helps with immersion and being able to have clubs and control how sims hang out more is a plus. Life & Death and Growing Together are great expansions for fleshing out interpersonal relationships and getting really unique sims.

But one shouldn’t ignore that the overall sentiment in Israel is that they want IDF soldiers to rape Palestinians to death, that they feel entitled to take over Gaza, and that their only care is for their own citizens while they bomb others.

Ruby’s Pantry, which distributed food at 87 locations across Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin, announced Tuesday it had immediately ended its operations. The organization helped more than 300,000 families every year, Minnesota Public Radio reports.

“Over the past several months, we have been thoughtfully realigning the work, structure, and focus of Ruby’s Pantry to ensure our mission remains at the center of everything we do,” the organization’s statement reads.

“As part of this process, we have worked to better align community needs with our goal of operating in the most effective and seamless way possible. As a result, we have decided to end the operations of Ruby’s Pantry effective immediately.”

The public announcement didn’t provide specific reasons for the closure but in another statement to Minnesota Public Radio, the organization explained that “the ministry is no longer financially sustainable.”

They knew for a long while that they weren’t financially solvent and they decided to shut down suddenly with no notice? The article doesn’t mention anything about them working with those communities in need in preparation for this close down. That seems…troubling.

I find that when people are throwing those accusations around - not voting for Kamala - it tends to be baseless and during a discussion where a leftist is being critical of Democrats.
