I wish I did. Played several years in AYSO in the US. Wanted to go Pro, I even got into a boot camp for the summer, run by former England national team players, it was a great experience. Could have helped me get into college and eventually pro. Except my family moved overseas for a while and when I got back, any chance of that was done. I may have had a chance in college to join the team but I had other priorities at the time. Looking back, I think I could’ve made it work, who knows? Now I’m in tech, and play adult leagues on the weekend. Good enough for me, still get to play the beautiful game.

Yeah definitely, I tend to root for Prem teams in other competitions. Like in Laliga, my favorite team is Barcelona, even though as a man utd fan I may be shunned for it by some lol… I can’t stand RM, I can’t stand Man city. I’ll root for any other teams but them. I’ve supported Liverpool over many other Prem/intl leagues, and yes I’ve gotten crap for it. I especially liked liverpool when SG was playing there, in fact in his final season I was really rooting for liverpool to take the title (we didn’t have a chance). Really just wanted SG to get a title lol. Man deserved it

It’s a rare thing, but a beautiful thing. Just means, more people to watch and discuss football with. What else ya need?
