I don‘t think that these issues are for Voyager‘s developer to solve, but you‘re totally right. Lemmy still feels broken to me, important features like migrating aren‘t added yet.
It‘s not user friendly (okay, with Voyager it is). I‘m still confused by this defederating thing - an angry admin from another instance can lock users out of dozens of communities there. The sorting algorythms are weird.
The only reason I‘m still here is this app. And people are much nicer here.

Was ich schreiben wollte: Ich habe die Frage inzwischen im Thread beantwortet. :)
Wenn ich selber „privat“ vote, dann verändert sich mit der Zeit bei bereits bewerteten Usern die Sortierung ihrer Kommentare lokal bei mir - beliebtere User werden weiter oben angezeigt, andere ganz unten oder ab einem bestimmten Minusscore dann gar nicht mehr.
Dazu brauche ich keinen Hivemind, weil die Darstellung immer mehr individuell auf mich abgestimmt wird, ohne andere User zu beeinflussen. Dann sind auch die Kriterien egal, nach welchen ich vote, ich darf dann auch mal downvoten, weil mir eine Meinung nicht passt, was ich beim öffentlichen Voting weitgehend vermeide.
Ich hoffe, ich habe es so verständlicher ausgedrückt, als in meinem grammatisch etwas verunglückten Satz in meinem anderen Kommentar.
Ich muss zugeben, dass ich auch fast gegangen wäre. Es ist noch viel zu wenig Content. Originell genug für eigene Inhalte bin ich auch nicht. Special Interest Communities sind nahezu leer, die lese ich mit API und selbstgeschriebenem Client noch bei Reddit.
Dann nervt mich dieses Deföderieren, von dem erst etwas bemerkt, wenn von einer Instanz keine Posts mehr kommen.
Meiner Meinung nach sollte der Nutzer mündig genug sein, selber zu entscheiden, was er lesen möchte.
Ich fände statt Up- und Downvotes ein Scoring gut wie im Usenet. Die Up- und Downvotes bleiben dabei lokal und entscheiden erst beim User, welche Posts und Kommentare prominenter angezeigt werden und ermöglichen mir eine persönliche Einschätzung der Inhalte statt des Hiveminds.
That feeling is how I know I did the right thing. Backing out of a fight or an argument for me always feels wrong for me, too.
Congratulations! Wonderful release. For me it‘s feature complete. Nice to have would be a dark gray mode and an option to see downvotes, but that‘s not a must-have. I love it as it is and deleted the other Testflight clients.
So much this. I was tempted to leave the fediverse due to missing content. But this release convinced me to stay and wait for Lemmy to grow.
Nicer looking comment section. Logical position of subscriptions. Beautiful animation when collapsing posts. Just to mention my favorites.
And the font size of the tab bar is slightly off.

Unfähigkeit meiner Meinung nach. Bei uns im Kreis gab es mal einen jungen Teilnehmer eines Jugend-Forscht-Wettbewerbs, der damit experimentierte, mit Propellern, die vom Fahrtwind eines fahrenden Autos angetrieben wurden, Energie zu erzeugen. Der Fischverpackungsdesigner, der den Artikel schrieb, fragte sich dann auch ganz unironisch, warum die Automobilindustrie noch nicht auf diese geniale Idee gekommen sei.
