The rust on the edge is normal especially in colder states, the pad just dosent context there/ a little bit of rust on the surface won’t do anything. I only fail state inspections if more then half the rotor is covered
Absolutely a warranty thing, when you bring it to the dealer be very specific with when it happens / mention possible torque converter shudder as its hard to reproduce unless you know what to look for / do
You got torque converter shudder. I’ve worked on a few used gm trucks and they did this, guess it’s a known issue. First step would be to drain and refill the transmission if that Dosent work you’ll need a new torque converter
Ello benz tech here, I’d check if the module is getting power and can , since you are having communication problems it very well the module could be off line or have damaged wiring resulting in a intermittent communication problem, had this happen on my Volvo and it drove me up the wall
Your picture becomes out on my end as being blurry, but generally pick a brand you recognize or which ever one has a heart when it comes to rock auto
When it comes to modules in a car some times they are plug and some require more. I’m no jaguar expert but with most cars you’ll have to use a factory scan tool or a scan tool that specializes in jaguars to reprogram it, in addition a lot of luxury cars will vin lock the modules, if this is the case you most of the times have two options, penny up for a new unprogramed one or send it out to some one who will physically open up the modules and transfer over/ reflash what ever it takes to work with your car
The cases have little micro chips that’s talk to the car, if the cases have been replaced at some point you may have to take it to the dealer to get the key programmed, in addition I would make sure the key battery has power
