The ecu goes with the engine. 1zz ecu with the 1zz, 2zz ecu with the 2zz.

If you feel uninformed when you find yourself in these situations you should bring a trusted friend with you that is handy with cars, or learn to say no to everything that isn’t critical. If you go in for an oil change but they try to upsell you on 10 other things, just stick to your guns until you can have a friend review it all with you.

Provided the engine wasn’t running at all during the oil change you’ll be fine.

I don’t think one drive to the undercoating shop is going to do anything. Undercoating is not a magical cure-all, it’s just another layer that may or may not help slow down the inevitable rust your car will see. Don’t even worry about this at all, just get your car and have it undercoated if that’s what you want to do.

It sounds like you’re overthinking this. This is all designed to extract the maximum efficiency from the engine and electric system. The engine firing up at idle for a few minutes at a time is using fuel in the millilitres.

If the engine running like this bothers you to this extent you may want to consider just getting a normal petrol car.

If your hands are getting sore I think your first avenue to correct that is changing your driving posture and/or grip. You should not have to hold the wheel that tight, and certainly not that tight for an extended period of time. You can experiment with hand placement, rest your elbow on the door if possible, loosen your grip a bit.

Steering wheel covers are not a great idea, many covers can slip in relation to the steering wheel and in an emergency situation you’ve now lost steering control.

The truck looks fantastic no doubt about it. It’s not the ceramic coat that makes it look this way, it’s all the prep work. Bringing your car in for a paint correction will yield the same results without the inflated price of “ceramic” coating.

This is terrible, please keep your existing vehicle, or sell it yourself and get something else within your budget. You’re never going to get out of debt with this deal.
