International football as a whole isn’t what it used to be. When I was growing up it was stronger than club football. Not now. Shown with too many big national struggling. Poor Germany team who didn’t have a real recognised striker at last WC, average dutch. Italy never qualify for anything. Brazil haven’t won WC since 2002. French still strong & Argentina (while Messi is still around) Champions league club is stronger by far imo.
