There’s no such thing as long term capitalistic goals. That’s the entire point of things like the stock market. The goals of a capitalist enterprise is to make as much money as quickly as possible.

I disagree with the use of the term “profitable” because it’s a non-profit and so donations aren’t going to investors or anything. Wikimedia is very transparent and efficient with donations according to Charity Navigator. That said, they do take in more in donations every year than they pay in expenses. See the financial reports they make public.

Between the two inevitable options, Harris was willing to negotiate a ceasefire. I realize there’s theoretically faster options but I was unwilling to make minorities all over the world die on that hill. It’s purely a place of privilege to think there’s no difference between wiping Palestinians off the map, and stopping the war in place.
