In the UK, it probably rains 362 days of the year, it’s always wet
FaceId is leaps and bounds ahead of touchId and forever will be. One of the reasons why I wouldn’t even consider Android phones is the lack of it. The reasons why I went with iPad Pro over any other model was the faceId, it’s one of the best additions apple every made and I don’t get how anyone who used it could think placing your finger in some spot to unlock your phone was ever better.

No 120hz screen, poor battery life and no metal housing, peak temperatures on cpu get to 95 degrees from the few reviews I’ve seen and fans turn on… hard pass.
I love my 14" Pro but I also wish something even slightly comparable existed with windows, just want a fast, cool, quiet laptop with 10+ hour battery life and mini led or oled screen.
It’s less about seeing 540 frames per second and more that each frame taking less time to render on screen, it means what you’re seeing is a more recent representation of the game state. I’m a casual gamer that can’t appreciate anything past 144hz but that’s what I’ve heard about ultra high refresh rate screens.
That’s the problem with EVs, batteries make a huge % of their cost and have a short lifespan compared to how long cars typically last. EV batteries only last 8-10 years before serious capacity degradation and potentially other issues. 8-10 year old Tesla Model S which is still a very nice car, can go for as low as £5k here, except it needs a full battery replacement to be usable at the cost of around £23k. Taycan battery replacement from Porsche is £55k at the moment so yea, I’d be surprised if a 10 year old Taycan cost any more than £10k
