They definitely do on my LE. Waiting on my non-LE OLED to deliver to compare.

Mine feel good on my LCD and OLED.
Do you have a Samsung or BOE display?
How old is the deck? Has it been fine then suddenly doing this or has it been getting worse over time?
Chiaki is amazing.
Deck + Chiaki > Portal imho. But hey - so long as you’re happy. I’m not here to tell you what you should do.
Are you trying to do it within the deck?
I cloned mine using a NVMe adapter for usb outside of the deck on my computer. Had no issues imaging or restoring that way.
If you’re trying to do it within the deck by booting Clonezilla on the deck itself - I haven’t tried that myself.
I did not notice a difference between the 1 TB Extreme Pro and the 1.5 TB ultra personally on the deck. I have both.
Theoretically the U3 A2 card should perform better but my real world testing by downloading and running games indicated to me that either works well in the deck.
The internal NVMe will obviously always be fastest / best - but the SD card is totally usable.
On the OG (lcd) deck I usually used the sd cards just to keep games I may want to play downloaded and then I swapped them into the NVMe as I wanted to play them. Was generally faster to copy off the SD than to download fresh.
The WiFi / LAN feels a lot faster to me on the OLED so downloading games from the net feels a lot faster.
I have a non-LE 1TB on the way to compare to my LE. Will keep the one that feels the best in the hand.
Really wanted to love the LE but it just feels cheap in the hand.
Appears that way.
Not any that I’ve seen so far.
Is that exclusive to the Limited Edition or are the non-limited having loose buttons as well?
I noticed the buttons on my LE are loose / make noise. My OG LCD doesn’t do this - but I don’t have a non-LE OLED to test.
So I got my limited edition OLED and it creaks like crazy. Picked up my original steam deck and it feels rock solid and quiet.
Popped off the back cover and used some dielectric silicone grease sparingly on the front and back cover where the halves meet and clips interact. Snapped it back together and it’s perfectly silent / not a creak to be heard. Just thought I would share in case anyone else has a creaky deck.
Thank you for your service.
I don’t think I can see my phone at arm’s length so maybe my eyesight is already damaged.
Mine updated this morning. Delivery tomorrow.
I love it.
You can put a screen protector on the etched screen and get a glossy result. You can probably put an etched protector on a glossy screen as well.
I put a screen protector on my original deck and it made the etched display much clearer.
Or just buy both.
