3kw motor for an EV controller? I used a Vevor 3kw for my outboard conversion and that pushed me up to 5 knots (9km/h). A car is needs a WAY stronger motor… What are you converting?

Look at the Vevor 3000w motor - is it the same re branded? If so, I can tell you it seems to do peak 3000w for a few seconds but I can’t get more than 1600w out of it. And the Vevor 3000w motor was incorrectly designed since they removed the fan because they couldn’t fit one in. It’s pure shit. I hope that’s not the same you got.

Wish they added 2k to the price and upped the battery. It really makes a difference when you can’t drive far with an EV. I have the MG4 Delux, 440km and it’s really bare minimum up here in the north since winter draws that down closer to 300km practical range. If you got the car just doing half of that at start it’s just a local driver car, your second car. But most people who need an affordable car, doesn’t want to switch from something that takes them 800km to now doing 130km during the winter. Just too many scenarios where that will make you darn nervous.
