It is true that our play style suffered without Saliba and Tomi. However, we were extremely poor in those games against Southampton, West Ham, Forest, and Brighton where we still should’ve had enough to beat them.

We played lights out football last season but it wasn’t sustainable as we struggled towards the end. This season, our style has been a little more ugly but we are grinding out wins. There is much more quality depth as well. I am hopeful.

If Kai scored a hat trick against Chelsea, he could go on to nothing else after that and the transfer would still be worth it.
