If you keep letting it get down to empty then you’ll kill the fuel pump. I never let my car get below a 1/4th a tank, even if can’t afford to fill it to full I always put something in it.

Well BMW doesn’t make a minivan and an SUV pretending to be a minivan by stuffing a third row into it just doesn’t cut it when you’re trying to transport 5+ adults at the same time.
With such a new vehicle they probably just pencil whipped the checklist because they probably figured it wouldn’t need anything since they don’t get paid to do the inspection and they do the inspection to see if they can upsell you on anything.
You got hosed dude. I got GAP and platinum warranty on my 2017 Camry that I bought two years ago certified used and it was only $840 for both. I didn’t even want either of them but they kept lowering the price that I eventually just said yes. It was only $10 extra a month on the payment and I figured getting GAP through my insurance would cost around that much that it just made sense to accept their offer.
I got the extended warranty and GAP for $10/month, so only $840 on my certified used Camry I bought two years ago. They kept pestering me too and I didn’t even offer a price that I’d accept because I genuinely didn’t want it but I figured GAP from my insurance would cost about the same so I was getting the warranty for free.
