The manager is tasked with taking the resources that he gets from ownership, and guide the players and put them into positions to succeed. He isn’t responsible for Gerrard’s slip, Leicester’s response to COVID, or Leicester’s relegation (after non-existent support from ownership)
I don’t rate Rodgers too much, but he’s done more with less, especially compared to the litany of ManU managers since Sir Alex retired.
