Thank you for your response. I have been down that road and spent countless hours trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, it seems like an issue with the NAS. WD has their own software, and it is not as customizable as something like Synology. My pair of external drives are formatted to be case sensitive and that is fine. I will take a look at the videos you recommended. Thank you.

PS: In the Q&A section of the USB-C adapter that I am using it, displays the following question and answer, which leads me to believe I might be doing something wrong:

The product supports connecting a USBC to RJ45 vou need to manuallv set the IP.
