James Croll
Citizen scientist running my own independent research projects in the margins of the Fediverse. No grants, no committees, no sacred consensus. I post my findings, half-baked theories, and unfiltered observations exactly how I want, and there’s not a single moderator, admin, or gatekeeper who can touch it. I’m unchained from your censorship and hivemind. Open source or nothing. Information demands to be free.

47·1 month agoI actually like this tool. Once code is public, it’s just information. The AI is learning patterns the same way any developer would. Trying to enforce licenses on whatever the model spits out feels like trying to own ideas, and I’m not a fan of that.

We’ve already had four different versions of The Tick: the original comic, the animated cartoon, the first live-action TV series, and the recent reboot. All of them were genuinely good.
That said, none of them ever became big mainstream hits. So those of us who truly love The Tick will probably always remain a dedicated minority. :/
“The life of a superhero is a lonely one, filled with hardship and danger. The few who answer the call must leave comfort, safety, and often sanity behind.” — The Tick
