I’m still on my 2012 Macbook Pro, still does what I need it to do for home stuff, but I’ve been eyeballing a 15" Macbook Air just to run more up to date software that may help with work. I’d also need to find the right hub that connects all my peripherals with an SD card slot. The other thing holding me back is I still use the optical drive.

I think an “AI phone” would be like a Star Trek TNG communicator. Just press it, vaguely specify who you want to talk with and it connects.
