Yup, dealerships need to go out of business but somehow you still find apologists all over this sub that try to defend them if only to try and stick one to Musk. . . Like the guy is an asshole but so is every other auto exec.

God it would be great if Toyota went bankrupt and they are auctioned off for parts, someone needs to get ahold of this supposed SSB advancement that actually wants BEV to succeed and not just to push out more compliance cars and waste batteries on hybrids.

The Ford Pinto?

This has as to be the single stupidest reason to not get a Tesla and yet people keep parroting it. . . So I’ll say it again:

• VW/Audi/Porsche are all the biggest parties responsible for Diesel emissions cheating and caused countless premature deaths by their actions
• Hyundai/KIA have a track record of shit cars (they have gotten better in major ways though), dealer adjustment price increases, and most meaningfully in this context have been found to violate child labor laws in multiple factories in the US
• Polestar is owned by a Chinese conglomerate
• Chevy and Ford have been abusing bailouts for a very long time.

Point is everyone in the car industry sucks because go in under the illusion Tesla is any worse then the rest of them
