13·4 days agoFirstly, research like AlphaFold falls under the umbrella of biological research known as the transhuman project, representing the next phase of humanism.
In other words, it’s a project that attempts to disable the work of the first creator and control the course of processes like creation and evolution through human intervention. Essentially, they aim to biologically advance humanity to another stage in the evolutionary process by bypassing God’s creation.
All of these projects are funded by US-based foundations and organizations. This reveals that such projects serve not humanity, but certain vested interests and elitist groups.

3·6 days agoNot only Israel got tired. Also I am tired as a Muslim Turkish citizen. This endless hostility between the western civilization and the east of civilization made tired everybody. Everybody hates each other even though they don’t know each other because of this military operations. For 3 years televisions had pumped this hatred and hostility. Because of the government policies of countries everybody judged each other. Visa procedures at the borders have changed.Their behavior changed when they saw a Muslim or a Jew outside.Everyone is very tense because of these events and wants them to end.Living in the modern age is already difficult, and this added stress makes it even harder.Economic crises arise due to embargo policies imposed by countries on each other. The war in the Middle East has spread to my country as well. We have seen price increases of up to 300% in basic consumer goods.Petroleum products have seen a massive price increase. And right now everyone is blaming someone or some people because of this.It basically arose because of one man’s ambition. And he needs to finish this war the way he started it.

3·6 days agoI got tired all these politics and modern warfare. It’s just a bottomless pit. Bunch of lies are on television everyday.
The most painful thing is that they see people as beings whose perceptions need to be manipulated, who need to be controlled. They are spending millions of dollars on this endeavor.
While artificial intelligence should be used to develop fields like agriculture, farming, healthcare, chemistry, and biology, the fact that it’s only being used for perception management through fake websites disgusts me.

4·10 days agoIt’s the age of “Mega Tech Corporations”
If corporations become immune to oversight by state legislative bodies, they exert pressure on governments and transform into feudal structures. At this point, countries that host technology companies have a major role to play.Today, if a technology company has billions of dollars, it can certainly pressure the government to act in its own interests. At this point, the government needs to create legal regulations for these types of companies.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft Exec Suggests AI Agents Will Need to Buy Software Licenses - Business InsiderEnglish
5·19 days agoChain fraud activities are being carried out in chain systems like n8n, where AI agents are used together. It didn’t take them long to create systems that generate deepfake voices to sound like real people, directing users to buy a product or deposit money into an account. Many videos on this topic have surfaced in Türkiye, particularly on YouTube. If the users and system creators are to be penalized, then of course, information logs regarding these agents can be used.
However, if this is being done to keep some agents out of the system using user license fees, it will completely backfire.

Yes. Although it’s actually a very good alternative, it suffers from a lack of community. Its use can be increased with a global community and localized communities.

pics@lemmy.world•Chesme Church in Saint Petersburg, Russia (2012)
1·27 days agoThere is nothing about this topic in Turkish history books. The war reparations the Ottoman Empire paid to Russia were used to build a massive palace complex.I saw and learned these things while living in Russia and learning Russian in 2014-2015.History books contain almost nothing about the naval battles, land battles, and ongoing wars with the Russians since 1700. However, Turkish history books only mention 3 of these agreements - Treaty of Karlowitz , Treaty of Pasarofca, Treaty of San Stefano. Even about the 1877 Ottoman-Russian War, very little information is provided.
Almost nothing has been written in history books about Ottoman-Russian relations from 1750 to 1910.But in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, I saw a different history.

Fitness@lemmy.world•What do you think about kettlebells? They seem to offer a lot of versatility (nice when you don't want to get a lot of different weights)
1·29 days agoI like compound exercises with Kettlebell. Especially leg and arm combinations are awesome indeed. The main issue here good grip and balance. Especially when i prefer against time exercises it always helps. But you have to mix kettlebell exercises with other kardio and ground exercises to get better results.
i prefer yoga ground exercises with lightweight kettlebells(8kg) at fitness and cardio days. And 16kg+ Kettlebells at workout days.

Europe@feddit.org•Most Syrian refugees in Germany expected to return home in three years, Merz saysEnglish
3·1 month agoMigration waves are not among the primary structural problems in Germany. The German economy’s dependence on America along the Atlantic axis and the industrial shift of its workforce eastward constitute the root of the problem.Another issue is the brain drain from Germany. Many German citizens are migrating to German-speaking countries, primarily Austria, or to English-speaking regions for opportunities in the IT sector. In other words, Germany cannot retain its skilled workforce. It cannot break free from its economic dependence on America. Industrially, it cannot compete with China. When you add migration and a cumbersome bureaucracy to all of this, the current picture emerges. But it’s interesting that he thought he could solve the problem by eliminating secondary causes instead of addressing the root cause.

Another Microslop victim
Since Microsoft acquired GitHub and CoPilot, GitHub has been losing ground. Systems that try to force AI integration on their users only cause User reaction. That’s why many users are switching to systems like Codeberg.
