What city are you in? I’m not too surprised for electricians especially in pricey states. Unfortunately it is a bit of work to run cable between floors, and worse when digging out drywall.
I feel an AV company might be a better help

Luxury is right! FiOS has been so hard to come by, especially in NYC. I guess some of the residents are cheap wads and rather have Sprectum, but atleast it’s available
They started prewiring in recent years. FiOS was deployed in my old apartment in Virginia 2019 and they prewire the microducts to EACH UNIT before the service is ACTUALYY AVAILABLE TO ORDER.
I thought it was to save time on installation, but I’m not complaining because it’s DEFINITELY more streamline
I’m in a Ubiquiti world now. All the 2.5gb switches are more expensive and not many other vendors. SFP switches are more ubiquitous, atleast from Ubiquiti
I’m only having 1 rack with a consumer class CPU where I’ll be buying micro PCs for the rest
I’ve done tech support for TONS of family and friends. ShitCast and Sprectum are ABSOLUTELY the problem and I’ve had to call and chat MULTIPLE times and they refuse to send a tech. Competition is good and T-Mobile has had congestion issues in some places.
That guys a joke and a sadder joke people thumbed him up. 5G is limited to physics
It’s pretty solid my guy. If you’re handy, you can install baseboards that have a channel in them, but yea it should still work
Smurf tube from basement/telco closet to attic, run more cable/fiber down the road. 2-4 cat6 per room.
Don’t go too crazy with speakers. I’m running 2 speakers in the ceiling in the living room, hooking it to a Sonos amp which will act as surrounds for an Arc soundbar, the future is soundbars sadly.
