Didn’t think about that. After 2010, I’ve been using laptops more so I am a bit out of the loop.
According to this article,
https://sports.inquirer.net/509009/efren-bata-reyes-still-working-his-magic-at-68
He isn’t as great as he used to be due to old age.
I think he still lives up north. Pampanga, I think. Unsure if he still hangs in the local pool halls. Maybe someone local to Pampanga can provide more insight.
Too much platitudes, not enough action.
Probably right. That was more than a decade ago. I do remember Lalafka. My former neighbor owned the stall.
IIRC, there was a stage for performances. Unsure if that was in today’s Greenbelt (more open space back then) or somewhere adjacent.
I read that the owner designed coffee table books for various personalities.
The article I read even highlighted some of his achievements. I wonder how many failed logos he had to produce before this, and why did PAGCOR choose something that seemingly came out of MS Paint. 🤷🏻♀️
Before Tickles, that was Lalafka. I think they were there when GB1 was still called The Quad.
Awesome. Let’s bring back the culture of giving without expecting anything in return.
Wefwef is great. So far, I’ve been happy with it.
Unsure if this is related but masto social feed isn’t refreshing on the app. The site is unreachable, too.

“Shut up! I’m trying to stay warm here.” - Some ancient Finn
Scribus. I still use the open source DTP at work even if I have InDesign installed.
Makes more sense. Gotta mitigate the risk of ruining the UX of the site and the community. This is a good idea in general, though.
I check out The Linux Experiment at TILVids. Sometimes, its useful to check it out.
