Purchased my first EV about a month ago and experienced the exact opposite. On several occasions when parked in a public spot, random people ask me questions if the vehicle is a hybrid or full EV? When I tell them it’s fully electric, they start asking more questions and are genuinely intrigued. That said, mine doesn’t look like the conventional EV.
Overall, I’m totally happy with my purchase thus far, which will be validated over time.
From Covid to until 3 months ago, new cars were selling well above over MSRP (ie - market adjustments, mandatory add-ons, etc.) The same was the case with the used car market. It was a sellers market.
Prior to this unusual phase, it was the norm to get discounts when buying cars, and we have returned to this era.
