Você não precisa ler se vc já sabe o que aconteceu, pessoas de fora do Brasil não sabem então pode ser interessante pra elas. Mas ninguém é obrigado a ler.
Really? Where you from? That’s nice to know. The way it is know is beyond sad. People are just numb watching it happen.
Definetly this. That penalty was to win the league. Losing the game the way it was burned their mental.
Just wait until Sunday and I tell you about what’s happening to Botafogo in Brazil.
spoiler: they will lose a league they had 15 points clear.
I’m waiting for Brasileirão to end to make the post about it haha
I am Brazilian and this was a complete shit show by CBF and Rio military police. Few weeks ago we had Fluminense vs Boca on the Libertadores final and many fights around the city. It’s Brazil vs Argentina, the biggest country rival in the world and CBF thinks it’s plausible to have brazilian and argentine fans on the same place without any division or police securing the fans. Then the military police come and start to beating everyone as they like and pressing people against a wall with no exit. It was really lucky that no one was serious injured during this shit show.
I really hope CBF gets punished.
I guess he incorpored more that “south american” spirit to play for Argentina. For what I see, Argentines and Uruguayan players usually have a more aggressive attitude compared to Europeans, I’m not saying they are aggressive like wanting to injury his opponents, but their spirit.
So IMO he added this spirit to his personality which fitted very well. He’s fighting for his team and his teammates are fighting for him. Everyone wins by this.
Yes, they fired him after the Brazilian Cup, right now Tite os their manager. They are second in the league but 3 points behind Palmeiras with only one game left. They lost to Atlético Mineiro at home by 3-0 this week.
