Everton - 9.33
Sheff U - 10.83
Luton - 9.16
Bournemouth - 11.5
So you’ve definitely got a little edge, and playing Sheff U and Everton will be massive too. I also don’t rule out us (Forest) or Fulham getting dragged into it properly either!
13 games in they’ve played 6 of the top 8, think that’s pretty par for the course, given that you have to play everyone within 19.

This article misrepresents a key point about interest on the stadium not being counted as part of FFP.
While that is true, Everton initially declared that some (two if I remember correctly) of the loans they were taking out were for working capital, and then only later decided that we’re for interest on the stadium.
The former counts against FFP, the latter doesn’t. Rather suspicious in my personal opinion to suddenly change that after the fact, and clearly in the eyes of the panel too.
Everton’s also wasn’t that quick, which is the entire point of the article above.
The rules have been changed (rightly in my opinion) so that any overspending is punished the season that it is published in the accounts now. Previously that would rumble over multiple seasons, which is why Everton’s existing deduction is related to their accounts from previous seasons, at the expense of the teams who went down those years.
