  • I tried opening mine up as some posts from way back mentioned similar problems. I did as suggested by lossening the screws a bit on the board but It didn’t really help. I definately think it’s hardware related as mine has a stronger right haptic but it also double clicks unintentionaly, the left has an annoying rattle.

I was really happy with my deck before coming across this problem and now it’s kinda put me off having it if I can’t fix it.

  • I’d do the same thing but I’d be so annoyed if the new one came after waiting another week (or longer) and it had the same problem or worse and i’ll just feel like i’ve wasted my time. I get the feeling there are probably a lot of units out there with the same problem it’s just people don’t notice it until they’re told. I didn’t until I played with the settings.

  • Yes I have the same problem. I’ve seen older posts suggesting to open it up and losen the screws on the trackpad, supposedly this fixes the problem. Having some experience building a pc and opening laptops I opened it up. I removed the battery connection then ribbon cables and lossened the screws slightly as instructed just to find the problem is still there has really bummed me out.

Either i’m not loosening them enough or it’s something else.

  • I’d always been a console guy, had ps2, xbox 360 and ps4 but I realised I’d have to change because my friends were now on PC and I didn’t really have anyone left on psn. Having built my own desktop, getting all the good deals and free games on epic with people to play with without a yearly subsciption I feel like I’ve been missing out on a lot for a long time.

I’d absolutely recommend a PC if you really like your gaming, it’ll open up a new world of game choice and options however I think most pc gamers myself included would recommend a desktop over a laptop. Thermals, upgradability, maintenance, self accomplishment after building it, list goes on.
