  • I beleive empathy is the root of this difference. With more empathy, you can better understand how someone else might feel - why they may struggle with a situation you breeze through. Empathy pushes people left. Empathy also helps you read the room and better calculate what gets a better reaction to comedy. It helps actors get into character to live as someone else. Conservative actors get typecast quickly, often as some tough, blunt hero-of-every-story character because that’s all they can aspire to be. Conservative comedians lean on an outgroup being the punchline whereas the rest of them tend to be the butt of their own joke or just describe situations. So yeah, 90% of the punchlines there will be that some type of person exists and does what a bigot expects them to do as part of their stereotype.

Robert de Niro went to theater school and played badass mafia roles. Joe Pesci was a NYC tough guy before playing one in movies. Alec Baldwin went to theater school before playing extraordinarily serious roles. Steven Segal… Just watch his karate competitions.

  • They typically sink and they don’t have that particular scent component. Apparently, I’ve been living with bad info on buoyancy apparently because a couple decades Oprah said it’s supposed to float. As for fat intake, I cycle on and off with keto (high fat, low carb) but can’t say these farts occur during keto. I would also note it’s some scent very specific to Wendy’s nugs that I don’t smell anywhere else. Maybe it’s just a particular spice? It’s not present in the fries so I don’t think it’s specifically the oil. I appreciate your educated guess. I was hoping literally anyone else would have this experience. My wife concurs about the similarity of smells but the production is solely my talent.

  • Modifying the dam isn’t the issue, you need to make sure the upstream area can be flooded. Not all rivers are in a canyon. You need a sizeable lake and consider how catastrophic an overflow would be. Then you also have to consider the effect downstream because you will likely cause a minor drought persistently since not all dams will dump into the ocean. So yes, I understand that “hydro” is both a source and a battery, but they are really 2 entirely different systems based on your other categorizations.

Same thing with the biomass. One system makes trees, one system burns wood.

The graphic isn’t particularly wrong, it’s just splitting some items and combining others inconsistently.
