people laugh when I say he is a better striker than Haaland - he played as a cf behind the striker for a season and was unbelievably good at that role his passing is exceptional and hes a nightmare for defenders to deal with

What he did in the PL for that Tottenham team is more impressive than what Haaland did in the PL for City

if kane played for city i believe he would get the same number of goals maybe more but hed get more assists and he would offer more outside of the goals

Kids these days grow up on social media and Ronaldo is a much more active member of social media and advertising

Ronaldo also looks like a Greek god whilst messi doesn’t this matters to kids

Ronaldo has much more famous celebrations that kids will see clips of online

Messi is far more talented naturally and no amount of work can get anyone else to his level

The same applies to Ronaldo but emulating his talent is a more realistic goal than emulating messis talent

There is absolutely no chance city and its players and manager are too profitable for the FA, SKY and BT sport etc the sponsors would complain, the tv companies would complain and the FA would lose hundreds of millions

Realistically to many people tune into every game to see the worlds best players every week for city to be at any risk especially under pep who has more pull and gets more decisions than anyone else in the country and it’s not remotely close

Football is all about facts and statistics what I don’t get is why commentators every game feel the need to mention that team A historical has won X amount of games against team B since 1942 at a specific stadium as if that changes anything about the odds of each team in June 13th 2023 lol
