1 year agoI very much doubt Spurs will get too much of a punishment, Everton’s was harsh. £20 million overspent isn’t exactly much for a premier league side. Think they’ve just been made an example of. City’s owners aren’t stupid. There is bound to be loopholes for their charges. They’ve done it before with UEFA and will more likely do it again. The Chelsea one is a strange one because the new ownership are the ones who reported the inaccuracies and it was all before their tenure. So I’d expect chelsea will get a punishment but it’ll more likely be a hefty fine (they’ve already paid an £8m fine to UEFA for issues they discovered). The league doesn’t benefit from these teams being relegated or expelled especially on a European level.
