A lot of Chelsea fans are racist.
Coming from this fanbase, irony.
They stole a lot of Arsenal’s players by being fraudulent and paying money that they didn’t have - any Arsenal fan that doesnt think they should be dissolved as a club isn’t a real gooner.
Coming from the fan of a club who’s whole foundation is built on a promotion “earned” while not finishing in the promotion places.
Not to mention Wengers title winning teams were funded by money you didn’t have.

The year before he took over we finished top 4 without a trophy, a result you lot spent all summer telling us is a massive success.
Neither in itself. 99% of the time the winners are who strike the best balance between the two.
Even us of this season and last had a strong defense or attack at any one time bar the Lamps period (currently we’re scoring loads and under Potter despite everything we had the third best defense ITL).

I mean he was still very good but in his first couple of months I genuinely though we had a player who was going to revolutionize the CB position.
Last season wasn’t as good for them as their position suggested.
They were 16th on XP, scored 7 more than their XG and conceded a whopping 18 less then XGA which was the worst in the league.
I mean these quotes are effectively discussing current field of play in the PL aswell.
The FA Cup is obviously bigger but the fact its a question is a sad indictment of modern English football.
For most clubs and fans these cups are a mere afterthought compared to the true holy grail of finishing in one of the first 3 loser positions behind City.

I will give him credit for creating a better atmosphere in England camps and it being a place players are looking forward to going to (compared to the golden generation era by their own admission) but I fear we’re going to waste this generation of players under Southgate the same way Belgium did entrusting Hazard/KDB and co to Wilmots, such a shame.
I think anyone who delivers in clutch moments that lead to silverware is fair game for the award.
