People are passionate because the steam deck is essentially a hobby. They spend hours and hours using it, tinkering with it and have by far gotten their moneys worth tenfold and completely fallen in love with the whole ecosystem. Nobody (or at least very few) people hate their LCD deck all of a sudden, in fact the reason so many people are this passionate is because they love their LCD deck. If you’re on here you’re a steam deck enthusiast, it’s your favorite toy. Now all of a sudden people’s favorite thing that they love so much just got even better. Like, across the board, in every way possible. When you’re talking about something you use every day, something you’ve spent dozens of hours staring at and will spend probably hundreds more hours staring at, its very appealing for the thing you’re staring at for so long to also be extremely beautiful. The battery thing also helps lol.
It won’t be worth it to everyone, but to the people who it will be worth it for, it’ll be EXTREMELY with it.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Resident Evil 2 Remake. Cyberpunk is just an awesome game and RE2 performs beautifully

Ask yourself sincerely if you can tell the difference. And if the answer is “yes I can tell” then your answer will also coincidentally be that it doesn’t matter almost at all. If you play outside though or under any other bright lighting conditions then get the matte. Huge reflections are far worse than a teensy weensy drop in saturation.
I’ve heard not great. Even on low with a lot of FSR it struggles to remain a consistent 30, with very consistent dips below. Maybe it’ll be improved as the game receives more patches, but the fact it’s on Epic and not Steam makes me doubtful of intentional deck support. Here’s a guide on getting it running though if you’re really into the idea of playing it on deck https://steamdeckhq.com/tips-and-guides/alan-wake-2-on-steam-deck/
My luck with HDR with cyberpunk is really spotty. Trying both options just mutes the colors completely for me and I feel like it honestly looks better in SDR. Have I done something wrong settings wise or does it just look like that?
